Our company makes engineered equipment. There are a number of standard components or modules that we combine to produce customized equipment solutions for our customers. I want to use Zoho to streamline our administrative work by using Zoho Quotes and Pricebooks to “build” products using a set of other products quickly.
The problem I have is that I cannot find a way to create a quote that uses several components/modules that will produce a written quote that includes a single price and a standardized description for the finished product.
EXAMPLE:
I want to create a quote for a customer. The Final equipment will have several components – one (1) Base Unit, Two (2) of Module A, Three (3) of Module Q and one (1) of Module L.
I want the quote presented as:
One (1) SuperDeDooper Widget………………………$XXXXXX
- Medium sized widget with wi-fi capability and deluxe foot massager
However, when I try to use Zoho I end up with:
One (1) Base Unit …………………..$XXXXX
- Medium RH configuration Widget Structure
Two (2) Wi-Fi Modules…………….$XXXXX
- Model XYZ 3G wirleess transmitter/receiver
Three (3) Supports ………………….$XXXXXX
- Polycarbonate pedestal stands, 32- 68” adj. elev.
One (1) FeelsGood FT massager ……..$XXXX
- Foot massager with optional Toe Jam remover and automatic anti-fungal cream dispenser
Part II of my quest is to also have a way to offer a way to list optional items separately from the base equipment price. EXAMPLE:
One (1) SuperDeDooper Widget………………………$XXXXXX
- Medium sized widget with wi-fi capability and deluxe foot massager
OPTION – Eliminate toe jam remover……………Deduct $XXXX
OPTION – Extended Warranty…………………$XXXXX
Any suggestions on how to accomplish this using Zoho?
