Need more explanation of Google Calendar sync

When I think of sync, I think of two things "combining" data into one view.  However, regarding the recent Google Calendar sync, I'm not sure it's exactly what we'd hoped for.

First, I have had ZCRM integrated with Google Apps for a while, and when I created an Event, there was a "Save and Export to Google Calendar" button - which pushed the event to my Google Calendar, albeit not under my main calendar (RBRDS), rather under a calendar called "zoho".  This was fine due to the nature of Google being able to share any calendar.  Basically, I have about 10 different calendars anyway (Personal, Business, Family, etc), so one more was *not* a problem at all.

Then, when the sync was release I thought "great, now I can sync my ZCRM Calendar to my Google Calendar like I do now manually, but I can also sync my RBRDS Google Calendar into ZCRM".  That's not the case.

It seems if I:
  • setup the sync ZCRM -> Google = no Save and Export button
  • change sync to Google -> ZCRM = still no Save and Export button
  • remove the sync altogether = still no Save and Export button
It's not really a sync, rather it's a "one-way push" that removes existing functionality (i.e. the Save and Export). F urthermore, every 6 hours for a CRM app is too long to wait to see events.

Here's what people would expect from a sync:
1. Create an event in ZCRM, it gets pushed to Google Calendar immediately - automatically
2. The primary Google Calendar events get pushed to ZCRM
3. Updates to any event get sync'd back and forth.  e.g. if I change a time to "Lunch with Bob" in ZCRM, that event gets updated on my GCal.

Even if all these things don't get fixed right away, you need to put the Save and Export button back.  Basically, now I'm waiting 6 hours to see ZCRM events in Google, and I have to check my GCal anyway because my primary calendar does not sync back to ZCRM.
