Need new/enhanced features in Workflow Rules

Primarily, being able to sequence tasks/alerts. e.g.:

Task1: send thank you or intro email <- this is already possible

Task2: Schedule Call <- this is already possible

Task3: when Task2 is cleared...do something.

Basically, it's sequencing tasks based on a previous task being completed.
