We had a drip marketing emails setup for existing prospects via autoresponder. Time has gone by and we want to start a new set of auto responder emails.
Previously, the autoresponder time frame was set up based on the created time (when the prospects were created) in the CRM.
Now that the prospects are existing and already in the system, how should we go about triggering the autoresponder to send out the emails. For example, we have 1800 prospects. We want to break them up (due to the email limits). Lets say on day 1, we want the first email to go out to the 1000 prospects, then the next day the remaining 800 to go out. Then the follow up auto responders will be fine of course based our setup.
The thing I need to know is what field/info/or other should we use to trigger that first autoresponder with the existing prospects.
Secondly, how would we go about triggering the autoresponder for new prospects that we enter.
I hope this makes sense, as it is a bit hard to explain.
