New enhancements in the latest version of the Zoho Meeting iOS mobile app

Hello All,

In the latest version of the Zoho Meeting iOS mobile app (v1.5.0), we have brought in the below enhancements.
 

Recording consent :
To enhance privacy, we have brought in the recording consent option in the mobile app. Henceforth, when a user tries to join a meeting wherein the recording has already started, the user will be notified with options to either 'Cancel’ or 'Continue'.


 

If a user starts recording during a session, other users will have an option to either agree and stay in the meeting or leave the meeting.




'View only' support for WhiteBoard from within the mobile app:

When a user(host or participant) shares Whiteboard from the web app, we can view the same on the mobile app during the session.


 

For a user hosting the session from within the mobile app, a pop-up will be displayed asking for permission to share Whiteboard from the web app.


 

 

Request to Unmute:

 

Due to privacy reasons, a request to unmute feature has been introduced. Going forward, the host will send a request to a participant to unmute their mic rather than un-muting the participant directly.



Consent alert will be displayed for participants and they can choose to unmute or stay muted.
