new helper methods - #api calls / #search calls

curious to know if there is any intention to expose the number of api-calls / api-search-calls that have been made for a particular account previous-day / current-day / etc.

we occasionally run up against max-api limits and i either need to write my own internal api-call-counter --or-- convince the powers-that-be that we can hold off for ___ months because it is a planned/expected feature.

please advise if this is even on the drawing board, and, if so, what the expected release date is.
