New in Zoho CRM: Secondary Email Address for Zoho Mail Add-on Users

Hello!

Earlier, in the Leads and Contacts modules, we provided an Email field to store the email address of the prospects/customers. Now, along with that, we also provide a Secondary Email field that can be used to save the additional email address.

Benefits:
  • If you are using Zoho Mail Add-on, with the help of this additional field, you can fetch and associate emails that are sent/received from both the email addresses.


  • You can choose to send emails to any one of the email addresses or even both the email addresses while composing an email from within a lead or contact.



Solution to a Problem:

Earlier, when the email address of a lead or contact was changed, all the emails associated to the previous email address would no longer be listed under Emails.

Now, this problem has been addressed with the introduction of the Secondary Email field. You can add the new email address in the Secondary Email field, instead of replacing it in the Email field. With this all the emails sent/received from both the emails addresses will be associated to the record.
