New Project from CRM

When creating a new project from the Opportunity of the CRM module there is not an option to add the project to the Projects predefined Project Group in Projects. This feature is available when creating a new project in projects. The lack of this feature put the newly created project from CRM into the Ungrouped projects category. It is then necessary to go to projects and edit the project and assign it to the correct group. Otherwise the project is created in projects and then associated to the opportunity. Can we make this seamless across both modules?????
