Hello, everyone!
My name is Ritika and I joined the Zoho Social team two months ago as a product marketer.
I'm happy to kickstart this year with exciting news for all the businesses out there trying to make the most of social media: Zoho Social is bringing additional features to the
Connections and
Monitor tabs. These updates will show you even more information and help you focus on the aspects that are most important to your business.
Wondering what these are? I'll cut right to the chase.
Level up engagement with followers
As a business, you want to know who your followers are and what they're saying about you. What are they tweeting about? What does their bio tell you about them? What kind of interactions are they making with your brand?
The
Connections tab is the place to learn these things. It's automatically updated with everyone who engages with your brand across multiple social accounts, including likes, sharing or commenting on posts, and tweeting or sending direct messages to you.
What's new?
You're already familiar with the three views Connections has always offered:
- All Connections: Everyone who has engaged with your brand.
- Recently Engaged: Connections who have engaged with your brand recently.
- Most Engaged: Connections who engage with your brand more often than most.
Now we want to help your business get even more involved with your followers and those you're following. We've made it easier to track the interactions they have with you, adding
two new views to help you do more with your social media marketing.
Say hello to:
- Followers: Connections who follow your brand on Twitter and/or Instagram.
- Following: Connections your brand follows on Twitter and/or Instagram.
The
Follower and
Following views give you more information about your Connections and keep you informed about everything that they're up to. Learn their interests and the kind of posts they like, tweet and comment on. You can also edit their contact details and associate their profile with others on social media. This is a fantastic way to generate leads and convert them into potential customers of your business.
Make the Monitor tab your own
Let's face it. No matter what the nature of your business is, managing and following multiple user tweets, wall posts, hashtags, likes and notifications across different social media networks can become a little overwhelming.
The Monitor tab in Zoho Social does all of this from a single window, so you can keep track of everything that's important for your brand. Even better, you can customize who you listen to and what you monitor.
Personalize your view
Our new Monitor features give Zoho Social users control over what they see first. When you start with a new account, the Monitor tab will have three columns placed from left to right i.e.
Visitor Posts (Facebook),
@Mentions (Twitter), and
Leads/Contacts (if you have integrated Zoho CRM with Zoho social). Arrange these columns to suit what you're working on that day, or use the + button at the bottom right corner to add a new column.
Column... be gone!
Some of the columns you create may not show the tweets or posts that are relevant to you, or you may realize there are other columns that better show what you're looking for. What do you do then? You wouldn't want columns to occupy space unnecessarily, of course.
The new
"Remove this column" feature lets you hide columns from your Monitor tab. All the latest data available in a removed column will show up again if you add it back.
To the left or to the right?
Every column in the Monitor tab has its own importance in adding continuous value to your business, but there will always be one or two that require more attention than the rest.
The new
drag-and-drop feature lets you rearrange your columns so that you can focus on what matters the most for your business and save time spent scrolling through.
A little heads up!
All Zoho Social users can add, drag-and-drop columns, and personalize their view. Personalized column arrangements will not change the view for the rest of the Social users on your team. Admins can remove any column, whereas column owners can remove only those they've created.
