New UI - Dropdown Arrow Inconsistent

In the new UI, the dropdown arrow for any dropdown list does not work consistently. The user must click on the "text" in the dropdown field, rather than clicking on the arrow. I've tried this on a Mac OS 10.12.3, Safari and Chrome. The problem appears on both browsers all the time.
