New UI for Import History, Date Field Support for Workflow Rule Triggers and more...

Here is a bunch of new updates in Zoho CRM that help you save time.

New UI for Import History
With the new UI for import history, you can now view the detailed list of records that were added, updated and skipped. The best part - this list comes along with the records' row numbers so you can locate them easily in your import file. And for those that were skipped, you can export them and import them back again, so no record gets missed!

The Rollback button is now renamed as "Undo the Import" and its application goes without saying - you can undo the import in just a click. Besides, you now have a lock icon instead of the earlier confirm option with which you can freeze the import. This prevents other users from choosing to Undo the Import. Click here for more details.

Workflow Rule Trigger Options Get More Flexible
Zoho CRM now introduces “A date field value” as an option based on which your workflow rule could be triggered.

Earlier:
You could only trigger a workflow rule based on “A record action”. This could be rather inconvenient for tasks that need to be automated based on a particular date. You had to work on time based actions for this. But now things just got easier!

Now:
You can set a rule trigger based on a date field value for tasks that need to be done on a regular basis. For instance, you can now set the rule trigger based on a date field value to send monthly payment reminders to your customers. You can simply choose the date field value as the rule trigger option and set the date of execution.

Go ahead and automate many other regular workflows like:
•    Assign leads to sales reps for regular follow-up
•    Reminders to leads to attend monthly trade-fairs, seminars, campaigns, if any
•    Send birthday and anniversary wishes to customers

Mark Frequently Used List Views as Favorites for Easier Access
The List views are now categorized as those “Created by Me” and “Shared with Me”. Among these, you can mark frequently used list views as favorites, much like how you favorite a tweet on Twitter. These “Favorites” appear first, so you can easily access them. Just move your mouse pointer to a list view and click the star. It becomes one of your favorite list views.

Specify Criteria for Pick-list Fields from Drop-down List
So far, you had to manually type the pick-list field while specifying criteria for any action. We understand that this might have led to data mismatch due to various versions of the same pick-list value. Not to worry! We have this covered for you now. While specifying your criteria, the drop-down list now reflects all the values available for this field and you can choose one from it easily.

Our intention is to make it easier for you to work with Zoho CRM and these updates contribute to this objective. Check out these features and let us know if you have any questions.
