New User / Basic Question
I apologize for this question in advance, as it will sound pretty dumb to most, but I'm new to using a CRM and am having difficulty understanding all the "slots" where items should be placed. If I sell thru a distributor, and my distributor reps are bringing me opportunities at accounts (companies), who is the lead? Is it the distributor rep or the contact at the account? How do I categorize this type of structure? My distributor reps bring me many "leads" at new accounts and new opportunities at existing accounts. What's the best way to track this type of sales structure? Thanks.
