Newbie Question - How do I use the Maps App?

I have coped the code from Google maps into the dialogue that Maps brings up

In preview an element shows on the page saying "'Your content will be rendered on your published site" but the published site just shows the text I copied - e.g. " https://goo.gl/maps/AHNoANL9yfR2" into the maps dialogue.

How do i get the map to appear?
