It would be awesome to have the option when customizing the fields, to toggle "allow non-sequential stage completion" or something... We have a stage for "Material Ordered" and a stage for "Job Scheduled", but they don't always happen like that, and if we have the job scheduled first, then it may be misleading and look like material has been ordered even if it hasn't, but completing a step always auto-completes everything before it. 

If that toggle would flip these to checkboxes instead of thumbs up, we could go "out of order" and show what still had to be done even while staying in the timeline.
