Not able to send or receive mails

Zoho - all our user mail ids are down for over 4 hrs now.

We have an event lined up on 3rd August with these mail ids being advertised all over. 

You have not informed your customers of any down time. This is a serious breach & has to be considered immediately.

What happens to the mails that have been sent to these ids so far? Are they being stored somewhere?
