Not Assigning Tasks On Weekends

I am creating automated workflow rules based on a trigger date which will assign tasks at various days after the trigger date. I do not want these tasks to be assigned on the weekend or Holidays that I have designated. Is there a way to stop the tasks from being assigned on these days?
