Not responding on iPhone

I was able to hook up my email to zoho and it works fine on my computer, and my ipad. However it's iffy on my iPhone. Sometimes it works but other times I get a message saying that pop.zoho.com isn't responding. Even though it responds just fine on my ipad. Any idea why?
