Not syncing with CRM Calendar or Contacts

I have the plugin installed in CRM, using Zoho One and have made sure all fields in the Bookings form are also in the contact module, but when I create an appointment in Bookings, it does not appear in the contact record or CRM Calendar. When I create a meeting in CRM, it does appear upon refresh in the Bookings calendar, but it still does not appear in the contact record. So basically I'm getting a one-way sync but it's definitely setup for a two-way sync according to the documentation provided.
