Notes badge as a quick action in the list view

Hello all,

We are introducing the Notes badge in the list view of all modules as a quick action you can perform for each record, in addition to the existing Activity badge.  With this enhancement, users will have quick visibility into the notes associated with each record.

Let's explore this badge's capabilities.

Notes badge

Previously, users could only create or access notes on the details page of the desired record. The new Notes badge enables you to access the notes of any record instantly in the module's list view.

While clicking on the badge, the Notes panel from the right side slides open and displays all notes attached to that specific record.

Add a new note

For records with empty notes, the Notes badge will appear while hovering on the record. If you click on the badge, the Notes panel will appear, and you can add a new note.

After a note is added to the record, the Notes badge will appear by default for that record.

All note actions

Users can quickly view, add, edit, delete, and sort notes, just like they do on the record detail page. 
 
Users can also summarize these notes using Zia's Notes Summary by clicking on the Zia's Record Assistant. The bot’s menu includes the Notes Summary option.

To use Zia's Notes Summary, ensure you have deployed Zia LLM to production under Settings → Zia → Smart Prompt. 

Recently added notes

Upon hovering, the badge also displays the Recently Added Note pop-up, where the note that was last added will appear. 

Hide the Notes badge

Users can also choose to hide the Notes badge column from the list view by unchecking it under Manage Columns—if their profile level permits.

Client Script is supported in list view

You can now use client scripts with notes created from the list view by choosing List Page (Standard) as Page and Notes Event as Type.
