Notes - is there a way to see them all, regardless of category?

Wondering if there is a way to see all of the notes made on any page (customer, contact, lead etc) over a period of time

This way if a salesman is on the road and throws a note in quickly, we can take a look at all of them at the end of the day to assign activities... I know that notes are the quickest way to get a bit of info in, and a busy salesperson might not be too interested in taking the time to do a full activity and decide when to schedule it on the fly
