Hello,
We wanted to notify you about a change we are making to the API notations in Zoho CRM which will affect the Zoho Sign extension for Zoho CRM.
Over the next few days, we will be moving from dot-based (.) notations to double underscore-based (__) notations across all API names and components in Zoho CRM. This will result in the removal of both the dot (.) and the double underscore (__) notations used for the default fields in custom modules created by other Zoho extensions such as Zoho Sign for Zoho CRM.
If you have installed the 'Zoho Sign for Zoho CRM' extension, it would have created a custom module named ZohoSign Recipients where your recipient records are created and stored. This custom module would have an email field for storing the recipient email address, and this field presently has the API name 'zohosign_Email'. With the changes in API notations, this name will be changed to just 'Email'.
Therefore, if you are using any custom functions and workflows in Zoho CRM to perform Zoho Sign actions, we request you to check your code for instances of the field name 'zohosign_Email' and replace them with just 'Email'. We recommend that you perform these checks and changes before 15 November to avoid any disruption in usage. Please note that if you are not using custom functions and workflows, you don't need to make any changes.
For any clarifications or assistance, feel free to comment below or write to us at
support@zohosign.com.
Regards.
