Odd problem with email on iOS devices

I sent this query to support at zohomail dot com earlier this week but haven't yet had a reply, so I thought I'd ask here to see if anyone can help.

I’m evaluating moving over to Zoho and so far have set everything up, except I’ve switched my MX records back for the time being. I’ve migrated a number of accounts over and checking everything works before I fully switch over.

 

The issue I’m having is specific to iOS Mail application. With this default mail application I can see the messages, in my inbox, but when I open a message I don’t see the body, It’s blank. Troubleshooting steps:

  • ·         I’ve rebooted the phone
  • ·         I’ve deleted and re-added the account on the iPhone (IOS 10.0.2)
  • ·         The server entered in the iOS account information is: msync.zoho.com
  • ·         If I use the Zoho Mail application on the same device, it works. However I’d prefer to stick with the native application
  • ·         If I connect outlook to the Zoho account using ActiveSync, it also works.

 

The account is set to use Exchange Active Sync for the connection, this is enabled in my control panel.
