Off line functionality using Adobe AIR platform

The question of on/ off line functionality should be moot. Efforts are underway with Forefox 3 and more recently Adobe AIR that will allow web app to go offline.

This on/off switch capability is not a luxury and hopefully Zoho CRM plans to have this in its not too distant road map.
