Office 365 Email via IMAP and POP - do they use OAuth 2.0?

Microsoft is getting rid of basic authentication for (OAuth) for POP and IMAP protocols. When choosing to configure Zoho CRM email with Office 365, we're only given those two options, as seen in the attached screenshot.

The email configuration screen inside of CRM shows that they use OAuth. It doesn't mention OAuth 2.0. If I understand correctly, OAuth 2.0 will continue to work. Do we know if CRM is using OAuth 2.0? If not, do we have any alternative options to connecting CRM with O365?
