In our potentials module we only want just one stage; Closed Won, and leave open to the possibility of adding in more stages once our sales team is comfortable with the data entry. The Percentage field will obviously remain at 100%.
However, upon creating a new Potential, the percentage field is empty, and Closed Won is selected by default in the stage. We can write in 100 into the percentage field, but it would be ideal if we could just ignore this for the time being, before we full implement some more stages.
Is there a way to make the percentage field default to 100%, so we don't have to type it in every time?
Or is there no way around this? If this is the case, what are the ramifications of leaving the percentage field empty, i.e. forecasting, reports etc.?
