There was an article in the help page that said that there would be a feature where zoho writer can directly open MS Word files without the need to convert those files to zoho format. 

It was said that it would be available by Q1 2023.

Is the feature available now? Because I tried opening .docx files directly from workdrive, it's not opening in zoho writer without converting them first fo zoho format.
