Outlook and Zoho mail

I like Outlook as an email client, but I'm not that sure about its interface with Zoho as I keep getting the same issue.  Every few months, there's either a minor glitch with my Outlook profile - or something more serious; I have to repair or reload it and then you deny my IMAP access as Outlook "re-fetches" my Zoho emails.  I write to you, you unblock me and off we go around the cycle again....This can't be how it's meant to be!
 
I know that you are going to say that I don't need "heavy" Outlook and I can rely on your light and elegant web-based UI, but in the real world of small business - and in a world where wifi isn't everywhere and my clients use Microsoft, I need a desktop email client.  Outlook also syncs well with my BB.
 
Am I the only one having these bridging issues?  If not, are there any system tweaks you can make to make the whole Zoho/Outlook interface better/easier/less fraught with IMAP blocks?
