Outlook Calendar Sync Problem

When I try to sync my outlook calendar. I get the following message " This calendar is not in selected category". None of my calendar items have a category selected. If i select a category it will sync over. There must be a way to get this to work without having to open up all my appointments and assign a category in outlook.

Please advise.
