Outlook Sync Events & Tasks

Why is it that in order for an activity created in Zoho CRM to sync to my Outlook, I have to be the activity owner? If someone else in my group creates an activity and invites me, why does it not sync to my Outlook?

Is this a bug or is it supposed to do this?
