Outlook sync - Vendors

is there a way to mark a contact in Outlook as a "vendor" so that when he gets uploaded into Zoho CRM instead of going in as a "contact" he goes in as a "vendor"?

This is important because in a prior response you mentioned that there was no way to convert a "contact" to a "vendor" once in the CRM.

Either solution would be nice.
