Partial matches of company name when converting a lead into an account

When I want to convert a lead into an account, the company name in the "Company" field of the lead might be a partial match of an existing account's name.

E.g.

Lead company: Acme

Account 1 name: Acme Limited
Account 2 name: Acme Ltd.

Now it would be nice if the conversion dialog offered these both partial matches to select from, not just to create a new account.

Is there a way to achieve that such partial matches work?

What I found is that only a full match is offered to be chosen.
