We are exploring the possibility to design our layouts with canvas.
There are some aspects holding us back from it. 

User experience truncated between record view and list view

Responsive in different screen sizes
Aditional clicks for editing a field
No available subforms edit in canvas view...

Before moving forward, i would like to know your hence opinion on Canvas from other end users perspective. 
How are you feeling about Canvas whose have it applied. 
In case your organization didn't applied Canvas, is there any particular reason apart from which i have mentioned above?
