Phonebridge and Lead/Contact Lookup

I've succesfully integrated Phonebridge/Asterisk with Zoho CRM and it's generally working.  I'm running into an issue where leads created in Zoho CRM aren't available for the PhoneBridge integration until after some period of time 30 seconds to a minute.

Is this configurable?  Is there a way to make newly inserted records immediately available for phone bridge?
