I have created several Pick List Dependencies, and I find them wonderfully useful. However, I am running into a bit of a snag:

I need to create a custom field dependency in which several values in the parent field generate no response in the child field. Good, that's working.

Now, all other values in the parent field need to select the one field value I entered. This is not working. The child field does not change no mater what I select in the parent field.

I have examined my other dependencies (which are working just fine) and I set this up the exact same way. Is it doing this because I only have one value in the child field? I need the child field to be completely blank (for mail merge purposes) for half of my parent field values.
