I am trying to modify the Pipeline by Stage report/chart to obtain a chart freely available in SalesForce/ SugarCrm that is called Outcome by Month. 

It works, however, when I group by the closing date it is really grouped by the specific closing date. How can group it by month? Another words, I am trying to have one bar for any given month.
