Plain text reminder emails

Is it possible to make Zoho Calendar send email reminders for calendar events in plain text only?

I'm having them forwarded to my phone through an SMS gateway email, and the HTML arrives visible in the text message - in fact taking up almost the entire text message.

If this isn't a feature, please make it so, because it really ought to be.
