We've introduced a new option that enables you to draft your marketing projects and plan all of your marketing activities before your team starts working on them.
Who can create drafts?
Any user with access to marketing projects can create a project and save it as a draft. The activities you can create depend on your organization's module-level permissions.
The importance of creating drafts
Every marketing campaign that you work on will have a specific goal or objective, such as increasing brand awareness, generating leads, nurturing them, and so on, depending on your business requirements. As marketers, how do you come up with a plan?
You might jot them down on your notepad, log them in a spreadsheet, discuss them in a group chat, or use various other tools just to lay down a roadmap. These methods make it difficult to visualize your complete plan, allocate the right resources, collaborate, and start working on them.
The ability to draft a marketing project before launching it serves to solve that problem. You can start by planning various marketing activities and assigning them to the appropriate team members. Once all the marketing activities are planned, you can see a complete timeline of how and when these marketing activities should be executed, who owns those activities, and the various tasks that are associated with those activities. You can also start adding the required resources for the marketing project.
Once the planning is done, you can go ahead and mark the project as ready.
This will set the marketing project as active, upon which time all the owners of various marketing activities will be notified. This unites the planning, collaboration, and execution of your marketing activities in one place: the brand studio.
