Hello everyone!
Seasons Greetings from Zoho Mail team. Thank you all for your continuous support for Zoho Mail.
We are performing a set of
planned maintenance activities and certain infrastructure upgrades in our Data Centers from 23 Dec 2016 to 25 December 2016.
The email services will be continued without disruption, except for negligible impact. The users would be able to send/ receive emails and access their email accounts during the entire time with minimum hiccups/ delays. Once the maintenance activities are completed, all our services will resume to normal and you will be able to access all the features without any issues.
The entire service will not be accessible for a few minutes in between, when we start the maintenance and while we resume the services to normal.
Make sure that you use the suggested server names for
POP/
IMAP/
SMTP or
MX servers. In case you have used any hardcoded IP Address details, please check and change to the respective configurations as suggested by us in the help pages.
Whitelist IP Address for external SMTP and POP email retrieval :
Zoho CRM or Recruit Mail Add on users, please whitelist the servers
sender.zoho.com (
Specific IP address - 135.84.80.194) to retrieve emails via POP without any errors henceforth. You can reach out to your email administrators to add this DNS host name / IP to your whitelist.
We also request you to whitelist the servers DNS
sender.zoho.com/ IP Range:
135.84.80.192/26 in case you have difficulty in sending emails using external/ other SMTP Servers.
Google Apps/ Gmail POP Account users:
If you have your Gmail/ Google Apps account configured in Zoho, Gmail might alert you about the activity from the new IP Address with the alert message ' Someone has your Password '. The alert would be due to the IP change at our end related to the Maintenance/ Upgrade activity and we highly recommend you to allow
sender.zoho.com / IP Address
135.84.80.194 to retrieve emails via POP from Gmail in Zoho Mail without any errors.
Please feel free to get in touch with us, in case you need more details in this regard.
Thanks,
Ramya A
