Please add the ability to add "Alt Names" to all logos and banners

Hello, I'm trying to optimize my blog and unfortunately, I've been having trouble optimizing two things.
I want to add an Alt Name to my logo and my banner.  There should be no reason I can't do this as these are the two most
important images on my website.  Most search engines penalize you if you don't don't have an alt name for your images.  I have tried to do it manually, but these two are so ingrained in your system that adding the logo and banner manually simply causes too many errors. 

Finally can you please change the default for "bold" font to "strong"?  The google bots respond far better to "strong".
