Populating Pricebooks
Hi All,
My company is using Zoho Enterprise Edition, and we distribute products from several vendors. Our productlist is about 4000 items (maybe more). I found support from the system to massive import products, but when I get to the pricebook this is another story, the only utility to support massive pricebook operations is just import the name of the pricebook and the description...So the products must be added to the procebook one by one....
There is no support to add, clone or update products to the pricebooks, so if you have a big productlist you have to spend a LOT of time on adding or updating products and checking those lists.
Also there are no relation between the list price, the customer account and the Product Price....So the salesman can give any price on the Quote, It happend that the salesman by mistake, even give a lower price than product cost.
I would like from Zoho:
a) Get tools to correctly handle Products on Pricebooks for big productlist: Add products from csv, Update Products from csv,, Delete Products from csv,, Clone Pricebook with content
b) Relate Accounts, Pricebooks and Products->Product Price, in a way to reduce the Quotation Risk because mistakes on typing
c) Include tools to find and merge duplicated products on Products
