Some times multiple contacts should be related and have their emails in a potential. For example, there are multiple decision-makers in the client, with the discussion advancing from one to another over consecutive phases.
In other cases, a potential may involve discussions with possible partners. The final agreement with the client may be reached or not depending on those discussions. So, emails to extra persons are a part of the sales process and should be related to the potential.
I am told by Zoho support that
there is absolutely no way to associate emails from extra contacts to a potential.
Is this correct? If it is correct, has anyone found themselves in this situation and has found a way to deal with it? It seems like basic CRM functionality to us.
With the evolution of our activities, this is a very important issue for us. We could have to abandon Zoho CRM just because of this problem.
