Power of automation : Automatically updating Zoho Desk ticket status when a Task status is updated.
Hello everyone,
I wanted to share with you how we implemented automation to mainstream one of our users workflow. They have been working with Zoho Projects & Zoho Desk. You can now associate a Desk ticket to Task within Projects. However, they had difficulty of manually changing the status in both the applications.
How we solved it?
Task custom function.
We came up with a Task custom function which would automatically update the Desk ticket status when the associated Task status is modified. Please find the attachment for the code and arguments used for this custom function.
Conclusion :
Overall, task automation has been a game-changer for the user. It provides faster, more accurate updates and has improved overall efficiency. The user is now excited to continue exploring new ways to use automation and enhance their processes.
