Hello!
I am aware that with public forms the Zoho CRM field can not be edited because it works with a lookup function and as it is public this could cause an information breach. This is why the field is blocked (and null) when shared publicly.
However, I was checking how the pre-fill from the sharing link works, and I can not understand why I can not add an alias to the Zoho CRM field in order of doing this. This would solve so many issues. Imagine this:
I could add a Zoho CRM field, looking up an email, and then hide it in the form. I can share the form link publicly, with a pre-filled info on this Zoho CRM field alias, which will do the lookup "secretly" but the user would see his information populated on the form. That link I guess it can be even automated to be generated when replying an email from the same email of the recipient.
I am trying to do this, but I havent find a way. Has anyone find a workaround or can suggest anything similar to accomplish this?
Best regards!
