price field still needs help!

price field still needs help!

Library Materials Request Form
price needs to accept decimals (two)  Someone "fixed" the field the other day, but only accepts whole numbers.
Need to enter pricing such as 50.75 or 150.50, etc.

Still, every time I make a change to this field, the form disappears.  This is why I'm not making changes myself.  Can I assume I can make changes to fields without form disappearing?
