Hello,
I am currently trying to setup Pricebooks.
Put simply I have three products. Each product has a number of tiers ranging from 5% discount and upward in increments of 5%.
Setting these up is fine.
What I am having issues with are that the Quotes display the Unit Price and the List Price but not the Actual Price once the Pricebook discount structure has been applied.
The customer sees the following on a print preview:
Qty = 50
List Price = 29.90
Total = 1,345,50
When the customer does the maths, they will not realise that the List Price is actually the base price of my price book upon which the discount structure is calculated.
If the customer sees an artificially high base price, they may not like it.
The actual Unit Price = 26.91.
But the Quote does not show this.
It is not possible to add a column in the Quote to insert the result on the Pricebook calculation=, which seems madness.
The Pricebooks simply do not function as they should. My customer dows not want to know what he might pay if he hadn't got the bulk order discount and he certainly does want to know the the price he is paying.
Plus, the same problem appears to be evident with the Discount if I apply the discount manually, in that it does not display in the Print Preview of the Quote, therefore the customer does not know the discount has been applied unless he does the maths.
The only way to be sure that the price is displayed is to ignore the Pricebooks and setup every tier of product as a different product, which forces me to wade through pages and pages of products, which is the whole idea for Pricebooks, is it not?
I am now reduced to producing my quotes in a cheap, third party invoicing software, which works perfectly, exporting to PDF, importing to Zoho. This in turn does not allow me to automate the email invoicing process which debunks the Zoho processes.
The CRM is great, needs a few tweaks here and there but the Invoicing is inherently broken and unusable.
If Zoho Invoice was able to push and pull to Zoho CRM, this would be a great solution.
The Core process behind any business, Invoicing, is unusable for me.
I only have three products at varying prices which I need to display to the customer on their invoices, is there any solution?
Thank you for your time.
