Probable bug? Autoduplication of contacts when updating excisting contact- any experience with this?

Is this a bug? Somehow Zoho autoduplicated a contact when i updated the description on the contact details- the same contact had been generated with a different autonumber, 3 seconds after i utdated the original- any expeience with this?
