Problem Importing Leads - Multiple Imports Create Duplicates

Hello,

When I import multiple .csv files to the leads module, duplicates are being created. The first import works fine but after importing successive source files, each lead is duplicated. The .csv files I'm importing are for different industries. The top line of each file has the proper field names (company, phone, street, etc.) and I've added an Industry column and entered the proper description to match my drop down lists. I've also added the mandatory "Last Name" field and entered Unknown (I don't know the name at this time).

Opening one of the leads has the proper industry entered but when I open the second and third duplicates, they have the industry type from the second and third files imported:

Company                       Industry
Company 1                    Industrial
Company 1 (1st dup)      Advertising
Company 1 (2nd dup)     Construction

All of the field mappings are identical for each file.
