Problem sending email - message is "Your Server does not support the Connection Encryption Type Specified"

For the past few days unable to send e:mails, using Microsoft Outlook on multiple computers.  Error message " Your Server does not support the Connection Encryption Type Specified.  No-one has changed any settings on machines. Any assistance would be appreciated.
