Problem still not fixed: Events don't show up in participant contact records
I posted this issue to the forum weeks ago. It was tagged "Not a
problem," when it absolutely IS a problem, and other users have
verified that it is a problem for them as well.

We do not use Zoho mail to issue invitations to events, and I'm sure
many other users are in the same boat. When we assign participants to
an event (contacts or leads) after the event is over, they do not get
shown as being invited or going, and the event does not show up in the
contact/lead record.
This is extremely frustrating and makes no sense. It's also a new
issue - we have never used Zoho mail, but in the past, calendar events
could be associated with contacts/leads and would show up in their
records, so something has changed in the programming.
Please decouple calendar events from Zoho email so that contacts and
leads can be manually associated with an event without their having been
"invited" through your system.
