Problem when converting lead. Information in "closed activities" and "notes" fields is not carried over to the new account.

Am I missing a setting or something.

If I have lead that I have logged calls on and added notes during the selling process. I want that information to be carried over to the account that is created when I convert the lead. Is it a setting for this or am I doing something wrong?
